Painting intentionally since 2004, Kevin Dwyer uses oil paints to capture beautiful moments of life and nature. Using gestural marks, local color, and direct observation he aims to evoke an experience upon the viewer by pausing and appreciating the beauty found in all things. Originally from Connecticut, Kevin first moved to Vermont in 2002. He graduated from Saint Michael’s College 2006 and received a B.A in Fine Arts in Painting. He returned to Connecticut to attend Western Connecticut State University and received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2008. In the summer of 2007 he attended Chautauqua Institution. After exploring and living in many places, Kevin moved back to Burlington, Vermont where he has been living, working, and creating since 2014.
